After independence, The Father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman nationalized Eastern tubes limited by 27 No’s of Presidential order of 1972 (PO 27 of 1972) under Ministry of Industries. From then on it is working proudly under the Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation as the country’s most renowned & prestigious lighting manufacturing company
